Q: What pest problems can you treat?

A: Our General Pest Service includes treatment for ants, roaches, spiders, silverfish, earwigs, millipedes, centipedes, or other “occasional invaders”. Some pest control services, such as a German roach infestations, do require an extra charge. Please contact us for details.

Q: What is involved in a typical pest control treatment?

A: On a standard General Pest Service, we treat the outside of the perimeter 5-10 from the foundation with either a granular and/or liquid product. We treat around all windows and doors, and remove spider webs & wasp nests. Inside the home we treat key areas that may harbor or provide entry to pests. If necessary, we can inspect key areas in the home such as attics or crawlspaces that may be sources of pests. Outside only services are also available.

Q: Is pest control treatment harmful to my pets and children?

A: No special precautions are required for pest control treatments where children and pets are present.

Q: How long do I need to be out of the house?

A: For most pest control services you will not need to leave your house. Flea/tick treatments will require a 2-4 hour vacancy period immediately following the service.

Q: How much does a pest control treatment cost?

A: Prices will vary based on the type of service. Our pricing is based on the square footage of the area to be serviced and the degree of the infestation. Please contact us for more specific information on our pricing.

Q: Do you have a guarantee?

A: At Pest Detector we guarantee all our services. The length and terms of the guarantee differs for each type of pest control service. There is no charge for a retreatment within your guarantee period, and we are always only a phone call away if you have any problems or questions.

Q: How soon can you do my service?

A: Typically we will be able to schedule most services within a day or two. Even during our busiest months of spring and summer we can still service most accounts within a few days.

Q: What forms of payment do you accept?

A: We accept cash, checks, Visa, Master Card, and American Express. We also offer an auto pay option for those who wish to have their accounts drafted after each service.

Q: Do you provide free quotes?

A: Yes. We can inspect your home; identify conducive conditions or areas of concern. We’ll make a positive ID on your specific pests and make recommendations based upon the activity.
